Regenerative
Architecture is a professional architectural practice that explores
new possibilities for architecture and design in the contemporary world.
Recognizing that the Earth's resources are finite, we strive to build
in a way that minimizes our impact on it, and we seek
to make environments that promote a meaningful and enduring
relationship between people and place. We offer an interdisciplinary
approach to design that integrates a sensitive, pragmatic commitment to
building with a research-oriented attitude towards problem solving.
Shannon
Criss and Nils Gore, principals of Regenerative Architecture,
each have twenty years of professional experience in the pursuit of these
objectives. We have worked in New England, the South and the Midwest.
Our work has been shared with a variety of collaborators, on large and
small projects, on new and old buildings, in urban and rural settings.
We believe in sharing our knowledge with future generations of architects
by teaching, and by engaging in research that generalizes knowledge, making
it useful to others outside of the particular project. |
